Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. About ClearTicket

ClearTicket is an information and document drafting service that helps UK motorists assess and appeal private parking charges. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. For full details, see our Disclaimer.

2. How the service works

ClearTicket operates on a one ticket, one transaction basis. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or ongoing commitments.

  • Free triage: You enter your ticket details and answer a short set of questions. We assess your case and give you an honest verdict — including telling you when paying is the better option. No payment is required for triage.
  • Paid draft generation: If your case has merit, you can purchase a professionally drafted appeal letter. Pricing will be displayed before you pay.

3. Your account

You create an account using your email address. We use magic link authentication — you will receive a sign-in link by email each time you log in. There is no password to remember.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account.

4. Your responsibilities

When using ClearTicket, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your parking ticket and the circumstances surrounding it
  • Review any appeal letter we draft before submitting it
  • File your own appeal — ClearTicket does not submit appeals on your behalf
  • Make your own decision about whether to appeal, taking into account the information we provide

5. Refund policy

If you purchase a draft and the service fails to generate it due to a technical error on our side, you are entitled to a full refund.

We do not offer refunds based on the outcome of your appeal. The appeal letter is a drafting service — we cannot guarantee results because the decision rests with the operator or adjudicator, not with us.

6. Intellectual property

You own the appeal letter we generate for you. You may use it, modify it, and submit it as you see fit.

ClearTicket retains the right to use anonymised case data (with all personal information removed) to improve our triage accuracy and service quality.

7. Data handling

We take your privacy seriously. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearTicket's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

ClearTicket is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to losses arising from the outcome of a parking appeal, late payment surcharges, or court costs.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClearTicket after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ClearTicket will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
